Meet the Gruffalo when he visits Moors Valley
“A gruffalo? What’s a gruffalo?”
“A gruffalo! Why, didn’t you know? He has terrible tusks, and terrible claws, and terrible teeth in his terrible jaws.”
To celebrate our new Gruffalo sculpture’s arrival at Moors Valley, the Gruffalo will be joining us at intervals throughout the day on the 14th of May 2022. For your chance to meet the Gruffalo himself come along between 10am and 4pm and you’ll find him in and around the forest picnic area near the walking and cycling totem pole. We can’t wait to see him! You can be one of the first to see the fantastic new sculpture too. It’s been several years since the Gruffalo visited us at Moors Valley and we can’t wait to welcome him to our forest again. We love seeing how much joy he brings to so many of our little visitors.
Please note: The Gruffalo sculpture will not be at Moors Valley between the 5th and 13th of May while we prepare for a brand new statue to be installed. The Gruffalo’s Child, Mouse, Owl, Snake and Squirrel sculptures will still be in place during this time.
