The Gruffalo Party Trail at Moors Valley Country Park and Forest

The Gruffalo is celebrating his 25^th birthday and everyone is invited to take part in a brand-new forest adventure.

What to expect

The interactive family trail features all sorts of party-themed activities and games, along with fun facts to teach you about life in the forest for the Gruffalo and other creatures.

Follow the trail to help find the missing party items to give the Gruffalo a birthday to remember. Search for balloons, pine cones, apples and the Gruffalo himself, and complete fun activities and rubbings as you go along.

Follow the trail

The trail starts at the beginning of the Play Trail, near Go Ape. Activity packs are available to purchase from the Visitor Centre daily from 9am – 5pm and cost £4.

Grade – Easy
Trail Length – 1.6km
Accessibility – Mostly level gravel surface, with one slight downhill section. Suitable for off road pushchairs, wheelchairs and trampers
Age – This trail is aimed at children aged 3-9, but can be enjoyed by all.
