Halloween at Moors Valley
We’re bringing back some of our most popular family-friendly Halloween activities this October, and we are hosting a brand new spook-tacular Halloween Experience not to be missed.
Please note – temporary path closures will be in place between 17 October – 8 November 2024.
Halloween Experience at Moors Valley
- 25 October – 3 November

New for 2024, explore the forest after-dark with a brand-new spooky illuminated trail for the whole family. Join your family and friends to wander from dusk into darkness. But remember, the darker it gets, the spookier it gets.

Halloween Crafts
Join us in Ranger Den for some spooktacular Halloween craft activities. Rangers will be hosting two exciting craft activities that you won’t want to miss. No booking required, just drop in and join the fun.

- Decorating Witches Hats – Let your creativity fly as you design and decorate your very own witches hat.
- Spooky Autumn Bunting – Create some eerie-sistible autumn bunting to decorate your home. It’s the perfect way to bring a bit of spooky charm to your Halloween celebrations.
Halloween Activity Sheet

We’re excited to offer a free Halloween Activity Sheet packed with fun Halloween themed puzzles and a nature-themed eye spy to keep you little adventurers entertained. Available to pick up from the Visitor Centre.
Venom Valley

A short trail for the whole family to learn about native UK snakes (Adder, Smooth Snake, Grass Snake) with fun activities.
Find the snakes at the end of the trail made from natural and locally foraged material.
Adventure Valley Mini Golf
- Open daily
- 10.30am – 4pm
- £8 per person, or £30 for a group of 4.
Age 4+
Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or a first-timer, our Adventure Golf promises an enjoyable experience for everyone. A perfect way to spend quality time with family and friends.
Adventure Valley Land Rovers
- Open daily from 26 October – 3 November
- 10.30am – 4pm
- £8 per car for 2 laps
Age 3 – 10 years.
Let your kids unleash their inner explorer as they navigate through a brand new exciting off-road journey in mini electric Land Rovers. Watch as your children’s faces light up with excitement as they conquer Rumble Road, Bumpy Lane and Seesaw Bridge.
Go Ape Sundown Sessions
Go Ape Sundown Adventures are back for autumn 2024.
For a limited time only, you can climb, swing, and zip your way into the night for the best adventure you’ll have this season.
Feel your senses heighten as you tackle mega-high platforms in the darkness, and feel the speed of a zip wire as the sun goes down.
Moors Valley Railway

Enjoy a ride on an authentic steam train around Moors Valley Country Park. The 7 ¼” gauge narrow gauge railway provides a picturesque journey of just over a mile.

Craving something cold? Norris and Binglewort ice cream kiosk has wickedly good flavours.
