Get Hooked On Fishing
- Every Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 to 19 August 2026
- 10am to 12pm, with some additional 1pm to 3pm sessions

Looking for a fun and relaxing outdoor activity for your little one? Whether they’re brand new to fishing or already have some experience, our friendly, qualified coaches are here to make learning easy and enjoyable.
With hands-on guidance in a beautiful natural setting, your child will discover the joys of fishing in a safe, supportive, and exciting environment. No jargon, no pressure—just pure fun and learning.
Ranger Den

Adventure Valley Land Rovers
- Open daily from 23 July to 31 August 2026
- 10.30am to 4pm
- £9 per car for 2 laps, or £15 for 4 laps
Age 3 – 10 years
Let your kids unleash their inner explorer as they navigate through a brand new exciting off-road journey in mini electric Land Rovers. Watch as your children’s faces light up with excitement as they conquer Rumble Road, Bumpy Lane and Seesaw Bridge.


Adventure Valley Mini Golf

- 10am to 4.30pm (weather dependant)
- £9 per person, or £32 for a group of 4
Everyone aged 4+
Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or a first-timer, our Adventure Golf promises an enjoyable experience for everyone. A perfect way to spend quality time with family and friends.
Moors Valley Railway
- Open daily from 1 June to 6 September 2026
- 10.45am to 5pm
- From £3
Enjoy a ride on an authentic steam train around Moors Valley Country Park. The 7 ¼” gauge narrow gauge railway provides a picturesque journey of just over a mile.

FAQ
Can I pre book?
You can pre-book activities such as Go Ape, Nets Adventure and Segways directly on the Go Ape website, or by calling 01603 895500. Golf and activity sessions can be pre-booked online or by calling the booking line on 01425 479776.
We don’t offer a pre-booking option for parking or cycle hire. We advise arriving either before 10am or after 2pm where possible as it’s normally less busy.
Are there baby changing facilities at Moors Valley?
Yes. There are cubicles with baby changing facilities within both the ladies and gents toilets. There is also a separate large cubicle with baby changing facilities.
Can I bring a dog?
Dogs are welcome to visit Moors Valley but must be under close control at all times and in many areas must be kept on a lead. Dogs are not permitted in either of the Play Areas near the Visitor Centre. A dog park is provided at the entrance to the Junior Play Area. Please come along prepared to clear up after your dog – dog waste bins are located in multiple locations. Check out our dog page to find out more.
