Grab your exclusive pack of Tractor Top Trump cards and find all of the vintage and modern tractors along the Play Trail and then jump aboard for a ranger-guided tractor trailer ride.

Watch one of our brilliant demonstrations to learn all about sawmills, timber stripping and coppicing – then experience the vintage tractors as they chug through the forest.

You could even pick up a bow and have a go at archery and axe throwing.

We have got you covered for a great day out this June.

We have loads of modern and vintage tractors, heavy machinery, and vehicles used in Moors Valley, The New Forest, and Dorset! Fill in your Moors Valley Tractor Top Trumps as you go round the Tractor Day route and learn amazing facts about each tractor. Learn how these machines help in forestry, agriculture, construction and more! Which one will be your favourite?

Make sure to catch our vintage tractor parade at 3pm!

Guided trailer rides

Join our guided tractor trailer ride for a 20-minute tour of the forest. One of our ranger team will be onboard leading the tour and talking you through your surroundings and the behind-the-scenes of how we look after our forest!

Tractor Trailer ride times:

10am, 10:30am, 11am, 11:30am, 12am, 12:30am, 1:30pm, 2pm, 2:30pm, 4pm, 4:30pm

Tickets are £4 and available to buy at the end of the Tractor Day route. We anticipate this to be busy so to avoid disappointment we recommend coming early. We do not offer online booking in advance or accept cash.

Face Painting

Available half way around the Tractor Day route you can enjoy getting your face painted or having a glitter tattoo! Additional charges apply.

Demos throughout the day

As well as plenty of tractors, we want to show you a range of historic and modern agricultural and forestry practises. We have demonstrations on throughout the day, showing you everything from timber stripping to how a mobile sawmill works, and even spoon carving! Watch out though, some of the demonstrations might be very loud! If you don’t love loud noises, then bring along some ear defenders so you can enjoy everything as well.

The demonstrations include: Forestry England: Birch stripping and fencing, New Forest Sawmill: Wood chipping (loud), Bearwood: Mobile sawmill (loud), Dorset Coppicing Group: Spoon carving, leather work, jewellery making, and wooden board making.

Axe throwing and archery

Have you got a steady hand? Put it to the test and try something new at Tractor Day. Head to Baba Yaga and have a go at archery and axe throwing! For your little adventurers, we also have sucker axe throwing and mini archery.

Additional charges apply. This activity cannot be pre-booked online.

We cannot guarantee parking as we anticipate the day to be busy so to avoid disappointment we recommend coming before 10am or after 2pm if you plan to park.
