Gruffalo Fun Day

Join in the fun this summer and meet the Gruffalo!

The Gruffalo will be joining us at intervals throughout the day on 13 July.

Join us for your chance to meet the Gruffalo himself in the Gruffalo picnic area where there will also be face painting and a host of free colouring and arts and craft activities run by the rangers.

Our Moors valley shop stocks all the latest Julia Donaldson merchandise for your Gruffalo crazy explorers.

Don’t forget to find all the character sculptures from the much-loved Gruffalo story in our Gruffalo picnic area.

Come along from 10:30am and join in the fun!  

Whilst you’re here, try our popular Stick Man Trail and help Stick Man find his way back to the family tree, packed with lots more fun trail activities! Grab a trail pack for £4.

FAQ

Are there baby changing facilities at Moors Valley? 

Yes. There are cubicles with baby changing facilities within both the ladies and gents toilets. There is also a separate large cubicle with baby changing facilities. 

Can I bring a dog?

Dogs are welcome to visit Moors Valley but must be under close control at all times and in many areas must be kept on a lead. Dogs are not permitted in either of the Play Areas near the Visitor Centre. A dog park is provided at the entrance to the Junior Play Area.  Please come along prepared to clear up after your dog – dog waste bins are located in multiple locations.
