    The Barn Café at the Visitor Centre is now open every day from 9am - 4.30pm.

    Roadworks are in place near the entrance from 9.30am to 3.30pm Monday 26 & Tuesday 27 January. Moors Valley is open as normal. Please allow extra time for your journey.

    Halloween Illuminated Trail Thursday 23 October is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Ticket holders will be contacted by their ticket provider as soon as possible.

Mindfulness Audio Trail

This audio tour will guide you through experiencing the fundamentals of mindfulness whilst interacting with the natural world.

The trail is approximately 3.5km long and is made up of two loops in a figure of eight with 13 stopping points.

Free public WiFi is also available at the Visitor Centre to allow you to download the audio files on the day of your visit.

  • We travel 45 minutes to this country park and whilst there are some closer, none are as good as this for kids…..an excellent play trail, playground and train. A great value day out!

  • Lots of exciting play areas for the kids to play on through the woods plus a sand park near the car park.
    Recommend to buy a season pass if your are going to be regular pays for itself after a few visits

  • Previous visits have always concentrated on the commercial and family areas, now the kids have flown the nest and we are dog keepers, we explored the vastness of the forest walks.
