    Roadworks are in place near the entrance from 9.30am to 3.30pm Monday 26 & Tuesday 27 January. Moors Valley is open as normal. Please allow extra time for your journey.

    Halloween Illuminated Trail Thursday 23 October is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Ticket holders will be contacted by their ticket provider as soon as possible.

Get Hooked on Fishing at Moors Valley

Welcome to the “Get Hooked on Fishing” at Moors Valley. Whether your child is an experienced angler or a beginner, our friendly qualified fishing coaches are here to help you learn the basics of fishing in an uncomplicated and easily understood manner.

Event Details

Dates: Every Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 to 19 August 2026

Time: 10am to 12pm

Age: Suitable for children aged 8 and above

Price: £18 per child

Dogs: No dogs please except guide dogs and assistance dogs

Get Hooked on Fishing at Moors valley

What To Expect

Join our friendly qualified fishing coaches and learn the basics of fishing, including:

  • How to set up a rod
  • How to cast
  • How to take care of the fish

All fishing equipment is provided.

What to bring: Dress to be outside in all weathers. Depending on the weather don’t forget waterproofs, a hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent.

Please note, an adult is required to stay with the child throughout the duration of the activity.
