Connect with nature and feel good – from 13 October

We’ve been working with WWF to create a new, interactive family-friendly trail that provides an exciting way to get your daily dose of nature whilst learning about the great outdoors at the same time. 

What to expect on the trail

Themed panels along the trail are designed to spark curiosity and adventure, complete with fun activities to help children explore the wonders of England’s forests and compare them to the Amazon rainforest. With every step, you’ll find new ways to experience and appreciate the natural world together.

About the trail route at Moors Valley Country Park and Forest

Designed for families with children aged 6-12 years, this 1.5 mile trail follows the play trail, starting and ending at Go Ape. The trail is a mixture of surfaces that meander through the forest. Along the way there are some mild gradients with numerous resting places and picnic benches. There is a tramper hire scheme available, please contact the visitor centre to make a booking.
