Visitor Centre Annual Maintenance Week
The Visitor Centre, Cycle Hire Centre, Visitor Centre toilets and The Barn Café indoor seating area will be closed from Monday 12 January to Friday 16 January 2026 whilst rangers undertake deep cleaning, and maintenance tasks that we’re unable to do when open.
Visitors can still access the site as normal, but some facilities will be unavailable.
The car park is open and operational as usual. Moors Valley Golf, the Play Areas, Play Trail, cycle routes and walking trails are unaffected.
Toilets at the Visitor Centre are closed from Tuesday 13 January until 8am Saturday 17 January. Alternatively, toilets at Kingsmere Railway Station will be open during this time.
The Barn Café is providing light refreshments (hot & cold drinks, takeaway food & snacks) from 9am to 4pm from the Kiosk in front of the Visitor Centre. The inside seating area is closed during this time.
The Visitor Centre is closed for the duration, meaning there is no access to the Information Point, Gift Shop or Cycle Hire Centre until Saturday 17 January.
