Upcoming Roadworks on Horton Road – Visitor Access Update

Roadworks are scheduled on a nearby section of Horton Road from 6 October to 19 December 2025, which may affect access to Moors Valley. Visitors can still reach the site as normal, but please allow extra time for your journey due to diversions and temporary traffic controls.

 Roadworks Schedule

Stage 1: Full Closure

  • Dates: 6 October to 3 November
  • Details: Horton Road will be closed 24 hours a day between St Ives Park and Woolsbridge Road.
  • Impact: Diversion routes will be in place – see diversion map

Stage 2: Temporary Traffic Lights

  • Dates: 3 November to 10 November
  • Location: Woolsbridge Road to Lions Lane.
  • Impact: Expect delays due to temporary 3-way signals.

Stage 3: Daytime Lights & Overnight Closures

  • Dates: 10 November to 19 December
  • Location: Lions Lane to Webbs Close.
  • Details:
  • Daytime: Expect delays due to temporary 3-way signals.
  • Overnight (7pm–7am): Full road closures
