Please note: Due to the popularity of our Stick Man trails we no longer have activity packs for sale. However, we have a new activity leaflet on site to help you complete the trail which is available for just £1 – you get a sticker too!

What to expect

The interactive family trail follows Stick Man on his journey as he tries to get back to the family tree. Enjoy the wonderful world of Stick Man as you complete lots of fun stick-based activities, discover tree-mendous facts and learn about forest wildlife.

Our Stick Man trail packs have been so popular over the summer, they’ve sold out.

We now have new activity leaflets available onsite that you can use to do the trail activities. These are available from the Visitor Centre for £1 including a Stick Man sticker.

The trail starts at the totem pole.

Grade – Easy
Trail Length – 1.9km
Age – This trail is aimed at children aged 3-9, but can be enjoyed by all.

Such a great place to go. have been coming here for about 25 years and seen some changes but all good. Great for all.

We travel 45 minutes to this country park and whilst there are some closer, none are as good as this for kids…..an excellent play trail, playground and train. A great value day out!

Lots of exciting play areas for the kids to play on through the woods plus a sand park near the car park.u003cbru003eRecommend to buy a season pass if your are going to be regular pays for itself after a few visits

Previous visits have always concentrated on the commercial and family areas, now the kids have flown the nest and we are dog keepers, we explored the vastness of the forest walks.
