Forestry England’s Shadow Volunteer scheme is recruiting. The scheme enables individuals with an interest in pursuing a career in conservation, community engagement, recreation, site management to shadow the Forestry England team at Moors Valley and wider woodlands across East Dorset. Applications close 7 January 2024. 🌳🌲

Due to the recent wet weather, some areas of the park and forest are temporarily flooded 🌧
The high levels of rainfall have also meant that the Spiders play structure on the Play Trail will remain closed for maintenance the weekend of the 9th and 10th of December 🕷🛠
Please take extra care and come prepared wearing wellies if you're visiting the park over the next few days 🥾
Pop into the Visitor Centre for more information about the tracks and trails that are more suitable on the day of your visit 🤗💚

The much loved Spiders structure on the Play Trail is going to be getting a little bit of TLC this week 💚
Spiders will be closed for maintenance from Tuesday 5th December until Friday 8th December so rangers can keep it in tip top shape🔨 Please follow all diversions 🚜
Don't worry, the other 9 unique play structures dotted along the Play Trail will be open for you to explore 👣
