Charges

There are no admission charges however parking charges do apply.
Your parking charge covers the use of the Play Trail, Play Areas, and Tree Top Trail and you are welcome to explore the Park and Forest without charge. However if you walk or cycle to Moors Valley it's free.

Parking charges for cars

On the day of your visit simply take a ticket at the entrance barriers then pay for your ticket at the pay stations opposite the Visitor Centre when you are ready to leave (before you return to your car).
Parking charges vary thoughout the year. Please see our parking charges page for details of the car parking charges on the day of your visit.

Disabled persons with vehicles that are road tax exempt may park for free. They should take a ticket on arrival at the Park and then call in at the Information Point in the Visitor Centre with their tax disc or proof of tax exemption and then will be issued with a free pass. Disabled (blue) badge holders are liable to normal car park charges.

Parking charges for motorcycles

Parking for Motorcycles is free. Please use the special motorcycle bay provided in the car park.

Group visits by coach or minibus

Coaches and minibuses are welcome at Moors Valley. All coaches and minibuses MUST book and pay for their visit in advance. Please contact the Information Point by phone to make a booking, on 01425 470721.

For coaches the current daily charge is £60.00 during school holidays, reducing to £33.00 during term times. This applies to all vehicles with 21 seats or more.

The daily charge for minibuses with between 13 and 20 seats is £22.00, reducing to £11.00 during term times. Annual permits for non-commercial minibuses with 13 to 20 seats are available for £50.00.

Season tickets

Annual car parking permits for Moors Valley can be purchased from the Information Point in the Visitor Centre.

An all hours permit costs £44.00 (£60.00 for 2 vehicles registered at the same address). An early risers and latecomers permit (not valid between 12noon and 4pm) costs £30.00 (or £42.00 for 2 vehicles registered at the same address). The quiet times permit (valid Monday to Friday outside of Dorset school holidays) costs £25.00 (or £35.00 for 2 vehicles registered at the same address).
