Countryside Action Days

Join Rangers from Moors Valley at a countryside site near you and do your bit to help preserve it for the future.

Take part in some practical conservation tasks that will have a direct benefit for the wildlife that lives there and you will be rewarded with plenty of tea and coffee. There will also be some fun activities for children so you can bring the whole family.

Tasks and activities

Tasks will vary depending on the site and time of year but may include clearing invasive shrubs, coppicing, pond clearance or tree planting.
There will also be a selection of family-friendly activities which might include quiz trails, games and natural crafts.
